The Nanny sitcom tv series was known for its comedy and Fran’s fashion in the 90’s. Fran’s inspired outfits have become popular in today’s fashion. According to Nylon, many of Fran’s outfits have made a comeback. Many trends such as colorful neon, leopard prints, monochromatic white, tie-dye, and  statement belts have become a popular hit. According to Vogue, many iconics outfits Fran wore in the show are mostly today’s popular fashion such as denim, headbands, chokers, and so many other trendy accessories.According to Popsugar, “ Fran’s outfits are still very much in style.  Fran had a knack for pulling off even the hardest of trends, like every single animal print imaginable from tiger to zebra. She often paired chic miniskirts with tailored blazers and sheer tights.”

Fran wore many prints such as leopard, which was her first signature outfit she wore in the pilot episode. She also wore a lot of signature outfits with fur.  In today’s fashion, fur has become a popular trend for the winter and fall season. Fran’s style and funny personality made the whole show come together. The Nanny show was such a hit that the show lasted from 1993 to 1999. Many of the fans were surprised the show was canceled for the seventh season and were disappointed to learn it would not continue.  They missed not only the laughs, but all the great fashion tips that Fran made popular in the show.  There are always remakes of shows, and one can only hope that at some point they may want to give the Nanny another chance, but only of course if it includes Fran.
