Let’s talk about fashion in the new show, Emily In Paris that premiered on Netflix, October 2nd. The fashion is all the rave in the new show and similar clothing styles can be found in the binge-worthy shows “Sex and the City” and “Younger” which were all created by Darren Star. According to Preview, you can start adding these designer purses to your closet. Preview tells you the price and where you can purchase the purses. Most of Emily’s bags from the show are classic designers like Chanel, Christian Louboutin, Marc Jacobs, and Kate Spade. If you don’t want to pay the price of high designer purses, you can still achieve the look by purchasing “inspired”  items that have the same look without the high price. But if you do want to splurge, you can’t go wrong with Chanel.

Let’s get into the details about the famous clothing designer, Patricia Field who has designed outfits for Carrie Bradshaw from the show  “Sex and the City” and “The Devil Wears Prada”, and now for the new show Emily In Paris. According to Nypost, “She’s Carrie-ing on”. Patricia Field describes the style of the show to be a mix of vintage and trendy.  Field relied on vintage French boutiques to add unique pieces to the outfits to create fashion statements. The classic trend of Christian Louboutins from Carrie Bradshaw is continuing on with Emily Cooper, who loves to wear Louboutins as it fits Collins’ real-life tasteaccording to Nypost

Not only is the show’s fashion chic and trendy it also brings back the 1950’s fashion. Emily Cooper brought an Audrey Hepburn fashion statement, which reminded people of the dress Audrey Hepburn wore in Funny Face, according to Fashionista. This new show will bring back fashion statements and history from Andie in  “The Devil Wears Prada” to Carrie from “Sex and the City” and all the way back to the fashion icon, Audrey Hepburn where this all started. In Paris. As Audrey Hepburn says “Paris is always a good idea”.
