Mendham Marching Band

Tyler Goodwin, Staff Writer

When Mendham Marching Band performs it is sure a performance that you don’t want to miss. Head coach Mr. Beadle and his team put in countless amounts of hours during the summer and throughout the fall. They practice one-two days a week from 5:30-8. The Marching Band is open to everyone even if you play a sport during the fall. They have had members who have played football, volleyball, soccer, cross-country, field hockey, tennis, and yet was still able to be involved in the Marching Band. If you have ever seen the Marching Band perform it probably was at halftime of one of the Minutemen football games. They don’t only play at all of the home games they do indeed travel to all the away games with the football team. The Marching Band also has a big role in the pep rally that is held in the gym. They fill the gym with loud music and get all of us pumped up for homecoming along with all of the sports played on that weekend. Mendham Marching Band continues to perform very top-notch and next year shouldn’t be any different.
