At dawn on the morning of September 26, the Class of 2026 gathered on the football field with friends to welcome their senior year. With bagels and cider being served by the senior class officers, digital cameras and phones captured memories as the sun rose above the Mendham bleachers. Many wore senior merchandise, with sweatpants displaying “Class of ‘26” and sweatshirts reading “SENIOR”. The weather was questionable leading up to that morning, as fog clouded the roads and thunderstorms monsooned the preceding days. However, the rain stopped and a clear sky opened up, presenting a beautiful peach sunrise to our senior class. The sunrise that morning symbolized a new beginning: the start of the last stretch of high school.
