Mendham Athlete of the Week has been given to Mendham Boys Soccer player Ross Spano. Spano netted 2 goals on October 7th against Madison in order to put the Minutemen on top and advance them to the semi-final of the County Tournament against Parsippany Hills. When asked about his performance, Spano stated “my teammates effort got me going early and I was able to finish the chances they gave me, it was a good win for the team.” Although the Minutemen are no longer in the tournament, Spano hopes to continue his scoring streak against rival team Delbarton this Thursday, October 18th, at home on the new turf.
