Could This Be the Cause of Diego Maradonas Death?

Soccer legend known for his all-star performance for Argentina during the 1986 World Cup Diego Maradona has tragically passed away from a crucial heart attack.

There are many reports that his doctors may be involved in the death of Maradona following his heart attack. A week before Maradona died he fell over and hit his head and had to have surgery to relieve bleeding on his brain and states that his doctor didn’t give him the right dosage of pills; they are now considering charging him for manslaughter if that is the case. Furthermore, Maradona has also had a history of substance abuse. Authorities are investigating if his heart attack has to do with the medication his doctor is giving him.

Diego’s doctor Leopoldo Luque mentions in an interview ” He should have gone to a rehabilitation center. He didn’t want to. I am the person who has been taking care of him. I’m proud of everything I’ve done. I have nothing to hide. I am at the disposal of justice.” Luque confirms he is innocent and did the best he could for the soccer legend. However, A week after the investigation began a prosecutor with San Isidro stated “Without any doubt, his doctor was Dr. Leopoldo Luque. He coordinated such deficient home care which was totally unorganized. The patient confided in him blindly.” On the other hand, reports are saying Luque was very messy with his job treating Maradona with the medication, and Diego put too much trust in Luque. The reporter also mentions that the patient was not monitored, neither did he take any medication for his heart disease.

Guilty or not, Luque might have something to do with Maradona’s death in not providing the soccer star with the medication he needs and not monitoring him. Can he actually be proud of everything he has done and stay true to his claim that he has nothing to hide?
