AFC’s Top 3 teams

1.Chiefs

At the moment the Chiefs should be the favorite to win the super bowl.  They are led by the best football player in the world in Patrick Mahomes.  Who right now has 25 touchdown passes and only one interception, but for some reason he is not in the MVP conversation.  Mahomes should be in the lead in the MVP race.  The Chiefs also have the best offensive weapons in the league led by top 5 receiver Tyreek Hill and best current tight end in the league in Travis Kelce.  They also have an extremely underrated defense led by defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo.  The Chiefs are the best team in the league even though they do not have the best record.

2.Steelers

The Steelers are off to their best start in franchise history, 8-0.  They have the best defense in the league and have a very good offense led by veteran QB Ben Roethlisberger.  In this year’s draft they have drafted two elite wide receivers in Chase Claypool and Diontae Johnson.  They are going to be for a long time.  The Steelers have a pretty easy schedule remaining and they have a chance to finish the season undefeated, but I still believe the Chiefs are a better team.   They are the second best team in the AFC.

3.Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens are an elite team led by their defensive and their power running game.  The Ravens sit at 6-2 with a loss to the Steelers who are undefeated and a loss to the Chiefs.  Their 3rd year QB Lamar Jackson was the MVP last season but this year he has taken a step back in the passing game, but has remained a huge threat to run the football.  The  Ravens are going to be an extremely tough out in the playoffs because of their top 3 defense.   They are the third best team in the AFC.
