Imagine, years from now, there will be some that when asked, “What do your parents do?”, will be able to answer, “Oh my dad is an international pop star and was part of one of the most successful boy bands of all time, and my mom is one of the most well-known fashion models of all time.”

On September 23, the world was rocked when it was announced that model Gigi Hadid, 25, and boyfriend, Zayn Malik, 27, had their first child. Announcing it on his socials, Malik told everyone how, “Our baby girl is here, healthy & beautiful.” Making quite a few people emotional when he continued, “[T]o try put into words how I am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding.”

The couple, who were first seen together back in 2015, revealed that Hadid was pregnant back in April. Hadid says that their newborns have “already changed our world,” (E! News).

Both parts of the couple have been immensely moved by the arrival of their daughter, but it was said, from a source close to the pair, that Malik, “was very emotional” when their baby girl was born, and that it was a very “emotional and special moment for him.” He is, “forever changed,” and, “wants to be the best father possible and is so excited,” (E! News).

Hadid gave birth in New York City, and shortly after was joined by her father, Mohamed, mother, Yolonda, brother, Anwar, and sister, Bella.

Bella recounted that they two are absolutely, “obsessed and in love,” with the addition to their family. She then went on to explain that both Hadid’s and Malik’s family have been at the couple’s place, making sure both the newborn, as well as the mother are fed and resting properly. 

Yolonda revealed that she is planning on staying with Zayn and Gigi for a little. She wants to help out with the baby and has appeared to be a great help, especially at night. The new-parents are incredibly grateful and thankful for her help and have said that they would love, “to head back to [Hadid’s family’s] farm at some point,” with their newest addition, (CNN).

While both Hadid and Malik are extremely excited about what the future holds, Malik has been more vocal explaining how he is, “grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, & thankful for the life we will have together.”

 The name for the baby girl has still yet to be revealed to the public.
