Student Shout-Out: Congratulation to All Students for Making it Through the Year!
June 4, 2019
As another year at Mendham High School ends, congratulations to all students for making it to the end of this school years, and a special congratulations to those seniors who will be graduating come next Thursday.
One student described her experience this year by saying, “I learned a lot about myself,” which is something many students can relate to. Juniors and seniors, as they go through the processes of applying, being accepted to, and preparing to attend college, learn much about themselves as they go through all of that. Between the stress of making sure their college applications stand out and the anxiety over getting accepting to the schools they hope to attend, both juniors and seniors have a lot on their plates (all that college-centric whatnot, alongside their regular academic work and extracurricular activities). Good luck to all juniors in their college applications, and good luck to the graduating seniors as they begin their college experience!
Freshman, too, can can relate a lot to that statement. As they begin their high school careers and grow accustomed to high school, there is much that freshman learn about themselves. Sophomores also learn much about themselves, as they begin to think about what classes they want to take in the next two years, as well as beginning to think more closely about the college application process.
Another students remarked that “It was full of new experiences and new friends.” Again, this perfectly describes many students feelings about each school years, as many people choose to participate in activities (sports teams, school music groups, school plays, etc.) that allow them to get outside of their comfort zone and meet new people. One of the best things any student can do during the school year, to those students who did so this past school year, congratulations on those accomplishments and on challenging yourself!
All in all, congratulations to every students at Mendham on the many things that they have achieved this year, and good luck, also, to all students as they continue onward to their next year of schooling, whether here at Mendham or away college!
