James Joyce got awarded employee of the month recently at his job working at Panera. When asked about his new achievement he responded,  “Wow, I am so honored. When I first started this job I never knew I would be elected employee of the month”. After school jobs help students apply what they learn in school to real life situations like financial literacy, math, and responsibility. While employee of the month might not seem like a big deal to most students, it proves James’s character and reveals his success for the future.
