James Joyce got awarded employee of the month recently at his job working at Panera. When asked about his new achievement he responded,  “Wow, I am so honored. When I first started this job I never knew I would be elected employee of the month”. After school jobs help students apply what they learn in school to real-life situations like financial literacy, math, and responsibility. While an employee of the month might not seem like a big deal to most students, it proves James’s character and reveals his success for the future.
