We would like to recognize Mendham Cross Country star Jack Stanley as the Mendham Athlete of the Week. Stanley is the individual champion for NJAC, Morris County, Section North II, and Group III. His most recent race took place in Van Cortland Park, NYC where he won the Foot Locker Northeast Regional with a time of 15:30:20. This race included all of the top runners from ten different states and 199 total participants. After the win, Stanley was awarded a (paid) invite to the Foot Locker Nationals in San Diego, California and the Nike Cross Nationals in Portland Oregon. These are considered to be the two most prestigious races in the nation. Stanley is even the first person from Morris County to win the Northeast Footlocker Nationals. We are looking forward to Stanley’s performances in his upcoming races!
